“I trained as a Textile Designer at Wellington Polytechnic, New Zealand and worked as a cutter in the Fashion Industry & the Wellington Opera House. I left NZ for Australia in 1994, worked in costume houses as a seamstress & for the Mens’ Bespoke Tailor at the Australian Opera. In Sydney I studied Set and Costume Design at NIDA (the National Institute of Dramatic Art). After graduating I worked as a Set & Costume Designer in Theater, Contemporary Dance & Opera for 8 years  with some of the most notorious Theater Directors in Australia  . . .  now I work in film & TV. “
